The Africa Challenge in the MacKing Mondeo

Here at MacKing, when Alex+Kristian, MK Directors aren't selling fantastic value used macs, we're generally behind the wheel of the MacKing Mondeo, traveling all over Europe sightseeing and meeting suppliers and customers on the continent.

When we were challenged to drive to and from Morocco over the Easter Bank Holiday, we jumped at the chance, even though it meant the MacKing Mondeo would have to cover over 4,000 miles in 5 days........

We decided to make the most of it and film the trip, and that will pop up on YouTube in due course, but for now here are a few of the pics from our epic adventure to Africa!
Goat the sheep standing guard - he's been all over the world with me - to four continents
You know you are a long way from home when you see a signpost to Portugal...

The MacKing Mondeo arrives in Africa and immediately we fill up with cheap diesel (50p a litre - read em and weep!!)
On the Moroccan highways

The Gite we stayed at in Ijoukak, Morocco - a truly amazing place.

Driving through the centre of Marrakech, which was unfortunately rocked by a terrorist bomb just a week later. Counting our stars.

The view from El Majoub's Gite in the High Atlas Mountains

Posing with the reliable MacKing Mondeo

Driving through Paris on the way back....

Using the last of the cheap diesel we exported from Maroc....
Overall we had a great time, and even lined up another supplier on the way back - canny!
Keep an eye on the blog and on our YouTube page - for the video - which will be up soon!
